Truland Homes was Built and Centered Around Military Veterans

Truland Homes

Origin Story

Truland Homes was founded in 2011 in Spanish Fort, Alabama by Nathan Cox. As a Marine Corps veteran, he has set out to help every veteran, reservist, and family in the Alabama Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle get their dream home. Truland Homes takes this personal vendetta seriously even having every team at Truland comprised of a veteran, reservist, or family member of a service member.

About Truland Homes

Truland Homes is a private company that builds custom and spec homes for people in the Alabama Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle area. They do not build on your lot but they do assist in every step of the home-building process taking a very hand on and immersive approach to construction-consumer relations. With the owner, Nathan Cox, being a Military Vet, their entire business and customer base is centered on active, reserved, and retired Military vets in mind; even going as far as looking to build near communities around local military bases. While Truland Homes was built and centered around Military Veterans, they offer amazing products and services for anyone. They emphasize building a relationship with the customer by being direct and upfront about many of today’s issues with construction such as Market Changes, Material Delays, Innovatory, labor, and weather. While these issues typically cause consumers hours of stress and worry, they have come up with creative ways to compete with these issues, so by being transparent and open they hope to release that stress by getting you to trust them and their process as much as they do. If you’re in Alabama you can take pride in knowing you will get to design your home in their state-of-the-art design center in Spanish Fort, Alabama, meanwhile, in Florida, you can work with a community Specific Sales Agent for options and finishes. They believe the designing of the house is one of the most important parts of the home building process so their design center gives you the ability to work with your own appointed interior designer let them help you curate every detail of your home such as lighting, hardware, finishes, flooring, countertops and many other things. The design center also has a vignette kitchen with hundreds of products for you to touch and feel in person! With years of experience, Truland Homes continues to create a better home-building experience, by focusing on the quality of their product, their customer relations, and the overall home-buying experience for First Time Homebuyers, Move-up Buyers, and Active Adult Buyers. In the end, they strive to be a company with dedicated professionals delivering an expertly crafted home with impeccable customer support, creating a combo you can’t find anywhere else.

Customer Support

Truland Homes’ customer support is different in the fact that they intertwine customer support and the customer’s home-building experience. They do this by handling most of the transactions through their sister companies: Truland Mortgage, Align Insurance, Sentinel Title, and GoPest Solutions, and communicating personally with anyone else (Real Estate Agents, Loan Officers, Title Processors, etc). They Believe by creating a “One-Stop-shop” they take the stress off you and create a system that ensures better communication, and fewer delays while gaining your trust, and turning it into a lasting relationship. Once construction is started, they schedule 4 set times you can visit the site, once pre-construction, once pre-drywall, once during the new home demonstration, and once during the home verification. The sales agent Truland assigns to you is in daily contact with the project manager working on your home and consistently will provide progress report updates to you. For Veterans Truland Homes puts their money where their mouth is, literally, giving all veterans, active-duty military, first responders, firefighters, police officers, and teachers a $500 discount off a new Truland Home. In addition to this, they give an American Flag to every homebuyer at closing which has turned into a tradition and a well-recognized symbol of your newly built Truland Home.
